Ara, her husband Sam and their 2.5-year-old daughter Elsie are proud to introduce you to their newest addition, Esme Adeline.

Esme was born in February and has been a joy to welcome into their family! Big sister Elsie is adjusting well to her new big helper role—while coaching her parents on juggling the care of two little girls!

If you haven’t met Ara yet, she is our Pediatric Physician Assistant who joined our team in August 2018.

Ara came to us after working for a large integrated pediatric practice in Denver for the 7-years prior. Pre-adolescent and adolescent care, as well as integrated teen mental health, have been particular areas of interest throughout her career.

She is passionate about encouraging great nutrition, physical activity, and healthy emotional and spiritual practices into her patient care. In alignment with our practice’s philosophy, Ara seeks to educate her patients about how the body can heal itself when given the right tools and guidance.

Over the past few years, Ara’s passion for learning more in holistic and complementary medicine has grown tremendously. Seeking to find ways to incorporate an integrated medicine practice with the Western medicine she was trained in ultimately led her to Mindful Pediatrics.

To complement Ara’s already existing and varied holistic skills, she has been trained and supervised under Dr. Roy’s ongoing guidance for the past three-years.

Our patients have fallen in love with Ara! They have also appreciated that we offer the Mindful Pediatrics quality of care at a lower price point, as well as services by a female provider for those families, adolescents, and children who prefer working with a woman.

We are open 5- days a week again for pediatric appointments!
