These juicy turkey burgers are one of our go-to meals when we want something quick, nourishing, and satisfying. Made with just a few fresh ingredients—ground turkey thighs, parsley, olive oil, and sea salt—they’re simple to prepare yet full of flavor. The burgers stay tender and moist on the grill (and as leftovers) and are delicious enough to stand on their own, without any fancy toppings or sauces.
Serve them on gluten-free buns, wrapped in crisp lettuce, or layered over a bed of microgreens. Add a side of baked sweet potato fries and you’ve got a wholesome, kid-friendly dinner that’s just as great for busy weeknights as it is for laid-back summer weekends.
Grilled Turkey Burgers
by Roy Steinbock
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground turkey thighs
1 small egg
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
½ Tbsp olive oil
½ tsp. sea salt
Method:
- In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, parsley, olive oil, and sea salt. Mix until just combined and form into 4–5 patties. Note: the patties will be soft but will firm up nicely on the grill, without drying out.
- Grill the patties over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Serve on gluten-free buns or wrapped in lettuce, if desired.
- Enjoy with a simple microgreen salad and baked sweet potato fries.
- Store any leftover patties in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
