We are excited to share some BIG NEWS with our community and introduce you to the newest addition to Mindful Family Medicine!

Ara Haupt is a Pediatric Physician Assistant and will be joining our team this August. She comes to us after working for a large integrated pediatric practice in Denver for the last 7-years. Preadolescent and adolescent care, as well as integrated teen mental health, have been particular areas of interest throughout her career.

She is passionate about encouraging great nutrition, physical activity, and healthy emotional and spiritual practices into her patient care. In alignment with our practice’s philosophy, Ara seeks to educate her patients about how the body can heal itself when given the right tools and guidance.

Over the past few years, Ara’s passion for learning more in holistic and complementary medicine has grown tremendously. Seeking to find ways to incorporate an integrated medicine practice with the Western medicine she was trained in ultimately led her to Mindful Pediatrics.

To complement Ara’s already existing and varied holistic skills, she is being trained and supervised under Dr. Roy’s ongoing guidance.

Mindful Pediatrics is so excited to be offering services by a female provider for those families, adolescents, and children who prefer working with a woman.  Additionally, hiring Ara is now allowing us to offer the Mindful Pediatrics quality of care at a lower price point, enabling us to accommodate a wider range of families.

Join us in welcoming Ara to our office and into our community! Please learn more about Ara by reading her full bio here and her first blog post here.

You can call Gretchen at our front office to inquire about Ara’s services and request any additional information: 303.318.4102.
